As a member of the leadership team, the Clinical Manager will report to the Director Clinical and Client Services.

DUTIES:

  • Provide clinical and administrative oversight and guidance to a team of Clinicians and Child and Youth Workers;
  • Support the development and implementation of evidenced informed clinical practices and monitor treatment outcomes;
  • Facilitate and ensure a multi-disciplinary team process;
  • Represent the agency on relevant community initiatives;
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop and manage supportive professional relationships, and have experience managing in a diverse environment that promotes inclusivity;
  • Participate in planning, budgeting and service delivery development;
  • Possess effective change management skills and abilities in an ever changing environment;
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related discipline;
  • Registered and in good standing with the OCSWSSW and/or CRPO;
  • Professional, responsive and positive work attitude is required;
  • High level of independent judgement, sound reasoning and discretion;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ progressive management experience within a social service setting;
  • Several years’ of demonstrated experience in the children’s mental health sector with particular emphasis on the provision of clinical treatment of children, youth, and families;
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the delivery of evidence informed practices and quality assurance processes;
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in staff oversight and performance appraisals;
  • Leadership competencies to inspire, connect, deliver and transform;
  • Awareness and knowledge of children’s mental health in a community service context;
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in oral and written communication skills in both official languages (English and French) is preferred;
  • Travel within the Districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin is expected and candidates must have a valid Ontario Class G driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
