DUTIES
- Support the System Performance Function
- Support the strategic and operational planning processes
- Support the quality assurance/quality improvement activities
- Support the research and innovation activities
- Support the accreditation process
QUALIFICATIONS
- post-secondary education in a computer science, epidemiology, social work, data management, statistics, psychology, business analytics/intelligence, or a related field; and
- familiarity with research methodologies; qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research approaches; inferential and predictive statistics; data collection methodologies; and Tri-Council Policy Statement for Ethical Research
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
- ability to assess priorities
- ability to work independently and within a team
- ability to develop problem solving approaches to technical problems and implement solutions
- ability to effectively use in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
- ability to effectively use statistical software such as SPSS and/or R
- skill and abilities in user experience, user interface, and graphic design are an asset
- oral and written proficiency in the English language is required and fluency in French is an asset
- possession of a valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence and availability of an automobile in good working condition
- satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check required
This position is funded by the NOHFC. Applicants must either be a new entrant into the workforce, transitioning to a new career, or unemployed or underemployed and entering a new field, as well as,
- not previously participated in NOHFC’s People & Talent Program,
- be at least 18 years of age, and
- reside in Northern Ontario
