DUTIES

• Support the System Performance Function
• Support the strategic and operational planning processes
• Support the quality assurance/quality improvement activities
• Support the research and innovation activities
• Support the accreditation process

QUALIFICATIONS

• post-secondary education in a computer science, epidemiology, social work, data management, statistics, psychology, business analytics/intelligence, or a related field; and
• familiarity with research methodologies; qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research approaches; inferential and predictive statistics; data collection methodologies; and Tri-Council Policy Statement for Ethical Research
• excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
• ability to assess priorities
• ability to work independently and within a team
• ability to develop problem solving approaches to technical problems and implement solutions
• ability to effectively use in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
• ability to effectively use statistical software such as SPSS and/or R
• skill and abilities in user experience, user interface, and graphic design are an asset
• oral and written proficiency in the English language is required and fluency in French is an asset
• possession of a valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence and availability of an automobile in good working condition
• satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check required

This position is funded by the NOHFC. Applicants must either be a new entrant into the workforce, transitioning to a new career, or unemployed or underemployed and entering a new field, as well as,

1. not previously participated in NOHFC’s People & Talent Program,
2. be at least 18 years of age, and
3. reside in Northern Ontario
