SUDBURY, Ont., – Compass and the Sudbury Youth Wellness Hub are excited to announce a joint initiative to support students in our community by providing them with backpacks filled with essential school supplies. This collaborative effort aims to ensure that every student is equipped with the tools they need to succeed in the upcoming school year.
The Fill a Backpack Campaign invites community members to contribute in two impactful ways: by donating school supplies or making a financial contribution. Unused Items such as backpacks, crayons, pens, highlighters, erasers, markers, coloring crayons, calculators, notebooks, pencil cases, geometry sets, binders, sanitary products (pads, tampons, deodorant), and lunch boxes are all needed. Donations can be dropped off at any Compass location.

“Every student deserves the chance to start the school year with confidence, and having the right supplies can make all the difference,” said Mark Fraser, Chief Executive Officer of Compass.
Together, we can make a significant impact and ensure that our students have the resources they need to excel.
